Well the time has arrived at last

It's judgement day , press day , gala day wow holy cow are we ready for this. Last tweaks Before 8.30am it was nervous energy all round , the judges were getting  ever closer and they were a massive group . I needed to get away . And not think about it , so we went to the loos got changed into dresses ( not Brian hehe) went for a cuppa, and then made our way back to the garden , press photographers all around it, so many lovely comments. Press day is a nice quiet day . Jude Kelly obe artistic director for south bank centre and founder of Metal came with her lovely PA Alex and Colette  Bailey artistic director of metal. They spent some time in the garden and expressed congratulations it was brilliant.  Then Anne Marie Powell came up and said this is my favorite garden arhhh , she is one cool lady , and said she had a meeting but would come back later . Then Keely Mills and Ross Sutherland poets extraordinaire turned up and put on a blinding show clever , witty, funny  . So many brilliant moments . At one point a class full of school children sat around the garden while Ross did an amazing version of little red riding hood ( they were transfixed) . Then the medal arrived out of the blue at 1pm Sophie and I were there Arhhhh GOLD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then another envelope BEST IN CATEGORY more arghhhhhhhh !!!!!!!!!!!!!! We squealed. And cried and were shaking it was so brilliant . The day was just utterly jubilant and awesome and incredible . The judges came round and gave awesome feed back it was super de duper.Anne Marie Powell came back with Andy oh my days Sturgeon i showed them around the garden and the plasma cutting then we had a selfie haha . Then beautiful firework in evening finished it off perfectly .
