Lantern making

In march I went to Liverpool to learn how to make lanterns with the Liverpool lantern company. Courtesy of Art and culture organization Metal. Four artists were picked to go do the course and then over the summer work with school children making sculptural lanterns for the "Upon this rock" lantern parade in September . It's been a great experience so far and I'm really excited about the soon to be here parade !

Abstract postcard workshop

I've had a brilliant time at Hampton vale college today, working with a mixed age group creating postcards of Peterborough . Yesterday they went into Peterborough centre and took some incredible shots of Central Park , rubbings and collected leaves and collage materials. Along their travels which we used today to create abstract postcards of Peterborough - so colorful and vibrant !
